As I've been sifting through Twitter with greater care, I've discovered certain phrases being repeated, often quite nonsensical and by people of disparate backgrounds. Not retweets, but "genuine" posts, usually differentiated by random words, like a game of broken Mad Libs. My best guess is that these are not in fact people, but fake profiles being animated to create some semblance of personhood. It's rather odd too, because a lot of these profiles are quite fleshed out, like in other instances they'll be discussing the steak they just ate, or how they overslept for work.

Very curious indeed!
