The Ghastling—Issue #2, and a Call for Entries for Issue #3

We have the honour and opportunity to work on several different brilliant projects, and one of our current favourites is a magazine called The Ghastling. The first edition came out in March of 2014, and issue #2 was released in December.

Published in Cardiff, Wales, The Ghastling is a collection of chilling short stories akin to Victorian "Penny Dreadfuls"; the stories within range from eerie to macabre, but are mercifully devoid of gore or shock horror. These are tales of ghosts, ghouls, and things that reach out from under the bed to prod at you in your sleep...

This is a magazine that Edgar Allan Poe or H.P. Lovecraft would have loved to read, and we have an incredible amount of fun art directing it and creating illustrations to accompany each story.

For those of you who have literary inclinations, The Ghastling is currently accepting submissions for Issue #3: the deadline is the end of this month (midnight on May 31st, 2015).

If you're interested in learning more about the publication, or finding out how you can submit your own work, you can find The Ghastling on Twitter @TheGhastling, or visit the official website or Facebook page. You can even pick up a printed copy of the magazine on Amazon to read on a dark and stormy night...
